Overview Of AFCAT 2024 Exam :-

AFCAT 2 2024 exam application fee  :-

• Candidate registering for AFCAT entry will have to pay an amount of RS 550 + GST (non refundable) NOTE:- However, candidates registering for NCC Special entry are not required to pay.

AFCAT 2 2024- Eligibility Criteria:-

Nationality:-  Of the candidate must be an Indian citizen according to Indian citizenship act 1955

Marital status:-Candidate below 25 year of age male and female unmarried at the time of course commitment of the training. and marriage is not permitted during training. A candidate who marries during the period of training shall be discharged and will be liable to refund all expenditure incurred on him/her by the Government.

AFCAT Age Limit (as on 01/07/2024)

• Flying Branch:- The age of candidates must be between 20 to 24 years (02/July/2001 to 01/July/2005). The candidates who have a valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) will be provided upper age limit relaxation up to 26 years i.e. they must be born between 02/July/1999 to 01/July/2005 (both Dates Inclusive)
• Ground Duty Branch:- The age limit 20 to 26 years candidates must be born in between (02/July/1999 to 01/July/2005) (both Dates Inclusive)
• Note:- Candidates below 25 years of age must be unmarried at the time of commencement of the course. Widows/Widowers and divorcees (with or without encumbrances) below 25 years of age are also not eligible.

AFCAT Educational Qualification:-

• Flying branch: Minimum 50% marks each in Physics and Mathematics at 12th and a three-year graduation degree OR a BE/BTech degree with a minimum of 60% from a recognized university.
• Eligibility Criteria for Ground Duty (Technical)Branch:- Aeronautical engineering (Electronics)(AE(L)): Minimum 60% marks each in physics and mathematics at 10+2 level and a degree in graduation/post-graduation in the field of engineering and technology from a recognized university.
• Eligibility Criteria Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branches :- 10+2 and Graduate Degree(Minimum 3 years degree course in any discipline from 60% from a recognized university

Standard and Syllabus of the AFCAT 2024 Examination:-

•  English:-  Comprehension, Detect Error in Sentence, Sentence
  Completion/ Filling in of correct word, Synonym/ Antonym, Cloze Test or Fill in the Gaps in a paragraph, Idioms and Phrases, Analogy, Sentence Rearranging, Substitution in a Sentence/ One Word Substitution.
• General Awareness:- History, Geography, Sports, National &
  International Organizations, Art & Culture, Personalities, Environment & Ecology, Indian Polity, Economy, Basic Science Based Knowledge, Science & Technology, Current Affairs (National & International), Defence.
• Numerical Ability:- Decimal Fraction, Time and Work, Average/
  Percentage, Profit & Loss, Ratio & Proportion, Simple and Compound Interest, Time & Distance and Races (Trains/ Boats & Streams), Area and Perimeter, Probability, Number System & Number Series, Mixture & Allegation Rules, Clocks.
• Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test:- Verbal and Non-Verbal
  Reasoning
• NOTE IMP Standard:- The standard of Numerical Ability Questions will be of Matriculation level. The standard of questions in other subjects will be of graduation level (Indian University).
